Spin Marvel 2, with its deployment of electronics, samples, loops and very trancy textures represents France’s second foray into the field, once again sparingly deploying the formidable guitar resources of John Parricelli, and substantially enhanced by the fitfully drifting smoke of Norwegian trumpet star Nils Petter Molvaer’s Miles Davis-inspired sound.
