Pianist Andrew McCormack and saxophonist Jason Yarde have both played with the great and the good of their own and of older generations. The sheer quality and range of their work would baffle many a working musician, but no-one becomes this good just by association or ambition. No-one makes music this eloquent unless it comes from a very special place.
